It has been an honor serving as the Mayor of Monterey. I was born and raised
in Monterey. My wife Sandy, and I, raised our family here and we look forward
to the day our children will raise their families here.
As your Mayor, I have valued the opportunities to work with outstanding citizens,
and our fine City staff, to acquire the former Mohr Motors site for our Window-On-
The-Bay Park, to adopt a Green Building Ordinance that is good for the environment
and good for business, and to preserve, promote and maintain our historic assets.
We have had many successes.
Our great City will continue to make improvements to our roads, reduce traffic
congestion, revitalize our business districts and enhance the quality of life for
all Montereyans. Working together, we can continue to deliver our message of
promoting a sustainable future and a healthy diversified economy.
