Monterey is a Special Place!

We must maintain a delicate balance between our wonderful natural environment and a healthy economy. Protecting our environment, while enhancing opportunities for Montereyans to enjoy it, is a guiding principle in my decision-making process. We must always be sensitive to our environment. I strongly support the Window-On-The-Bay Park.

Transportation and traffic congestion are issues of concern, especially at rush hour. I support an efficient and fun trolley shuttle to help us manage our traffic and parking. Let’s get visitors out of their cars!

Sustainability is a defining issue of our time. It is important to realize the interconnection between the environment and  our daily activities, and that our actions today will affect the lives of future generations.

We must maintain the character and uniqueness of our residential neighborhoods and revitalize our commercial districts.
